Wim Heinecke studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts
A special composition and certainly considering the fact that Rotterdam was later bombed. Wim Heinecke mainly painted Rotterdam scenes such as ships in the ports of Rotterdam, tow carts and wagons, horses, streets, but also landscapes and still lifes with flowers. Heinecke was a board member of the Professional Association for Visual Artists for 21 years and he was one of the founders of the Artists' Society "De Eendracht".
